NSW: Fireban imposed for parts of NSW

A total fire ban has been imposed on seven regions of New South Wales where high temperatures,
low humidity and strong winds are expected.

The ban forbids the lighting of any fires in the open.

Areas affected by the ban include metropolitan Sydney, central-west slopes, central-west
plains, Hunter, Illawarra, south coast and Southern Highlands regions.

The ban comes into effect from midnight tonight for 24 hours.
